Church Restarting 6/07

Beginning June 7, Paramount Church plans to resume Sunday corporate worship at 10:30 am. Thank you for responding to the Church Restart Survey. Based on those responses, a link to the attendance schedule will arrive by text or email (not publicly posted online). At this point, we will follow a two-week rotation through the beginning of July, at which time we will reconsider our plans moving forward.

We ask anyone who attends church in person to observe COVID safety guidelines. In particular, we encourage everyone (except those leading from the platform) to wear masks and practice social distancing. If you are not able to bring your own mask, some will be available to you at the church. During these weeks, children will remain with families instead of attending a children’s ministry class.

We will resume more of our regular ministry as Ohio health authorities relax the guidelines. Please watch your email and texts for more information about attending upcoming services.

If you did not fill out the Restart Survey or if you are not on the list, please contact your CG leaders or a pastor.

Community Groups

Community Group

Community Groups meet weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. Now also on Sunday evenings. Visit our Community Group page to reach out to a leader.

God created us to live in gospel community, under the word and rooted in the person of Jesus Christ. Our focus is to bring glory to Christ, to orient our lives around the gospel, to focus on change, and fulfill our mission as Christ’s ambassadors. To keep a proper balance and guard our Community Groups against revolving around something other than the gospel, we pursue at least four primary goals for life with one another:

1. Progressive Sanctification (Growing Into the Image of Christ)
2. Caring for One Another
3. Biblical Fellowship
4. Stewardship of Spiritual Gifts

CG Questions 6/07

Community Group

1. How does growing in God's providence change my life?
2. How does God's providence specifically help with fear, anxiety, anger, conflict in relationships, prosperity...
3. Spend time praying together for our country, our city, and the proclamation of the Gospel during these days.

Prayers and Praises

June 7 designated as Southern Baptist Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church

Prayer

On average, eight Christians died every day for their faith in 2019. That equals more than 2,920 people killed for the cause of Christ last year, according to the 2020 annual report from Open Doors’ World Watch List. In addition, 9,488 churches or Christian buildings were attacked, and 3,711 Christians were detained without trial, arrested, sentenced and imprisoned.
