Church Restarting 6/07

Beginning June 7, Paramount Church plans to resume Sunday corporate worship at 10:30 am. Thank you for responding to the Church Restart Survey. Based on those responses, a link to the attendance schedule will arrive by text or email (not publicly posted online). At this point, we will follow a two-week rotation through the beginning of July, at which time we will reconsider our plans moving forward.

We ask anyone who attends church in person to observe COVID safety guidelines. In particular, we encourage everyone (except those leading from the platform) to wear masks and practice social distancing. If you are not able to bring your own mask, some will be available to you at the church. During these weeks, children will remain with families instead of attending a children’s ministry class.

We will resume more of our regular ministry as Ohio health authorities relax the guidelines. Please watch your email and texts for more information about attending upcoming services.

If you did not fill out the Restart Survey or if you are not on the list, please contact your CG leaders or a pastor.

Community Groups

Community Group

Community Groups meet weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. Now also on Sunday evenings. Visit our Community Group page to reach out to a leader.

God created us to live in gospel community, under the word and rooted in the person of Jesus Christ. Our focus is to bring glory to Christ, to orient our lives around the gospel, to focus on change, and fulfill our mission as Christ’s ambassadors. To keep a proper balance and guard our Community Groups against revolving around something other than the gospel, we pursue at least four primary goals for life with one another:

1. Progressive Sanctification (Growing Into the Image of Christ)
2. Caring for One Another
3. Biblical Fellowship
4. Stewardship of Spiritual Gifts

CG Questions 6.14

Community Group

1. How have you been encouraged by someone else who has suffered well?
2. What are some Bible passages that have been a help to you in suffering?
3. How can we hold the tension of seeking the welfare of this city while knowing we are on our way to the New Jerusalem? (Reference Hebrews 13:14)

Prayers and Praises

Praise for Paramount's Home

Praise

Praise God for the answer to prayer with the successful purchase of our new church building and official home in Bexley!

Pray for Our Jewish Neighbors

Prayer

Pray that our Jewish neighbors would feel less afraid to investigate the person of Jesus. Pray that Jewish people would begin to accept the Jewishness of Jesus. Pray that Messianic Jewish faith would become acceptable in the Jewish community so that people are less afraid to consider its claims.
