Announcements

ABF

We are excited to resume our first-hour ministry, including Adult Bible Fellowship and Youth Bible Fellowship. We will begin with a 2-week rotation for ABF and YBF attendance, while observing our COVID precautions. We hope the precautions will ease over the next few months, allowing us to resume our usual church-wide ABF/YBF each week. But for now, we will use this 2-week rotation.

This alternating schedule will help us plan for children’s ministry attendance, as well as adult/student attendance. As you are comfortable, please attend on your alternating week (A or B). The same ABF lesson will be taught two weeks in a row, so we all track together in discipleship over the coming months.

Baptism Service

We are excited to announce we will be holding a baptism service on Thursday, February 25th at 7:00pm. The service will be held at Reynoldsburg Baptist Church, 887 Rosehill Rd 43068.

Community Groups

Community Group

Community Groups meet weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. Now also on Sunday evenings. Visit our Community Group page to reach out to a leader.

God created us to live in gospel community, under the word and rooted in the person of Jesus Christ. Our focus is to bring glory to Christ, to orient our lives around the gospel, to focus on change, and fulfill our mission as Christ’s ambassadors. To keep a proper balance and guard our Community Groups against revolving around something other than the gospel, we pursue at least four primary goals for life with one another:

1. Progressive Sanctification (Growing Into the Image of Christ)
2. Caring for One Another
3. Biblical Fellowship
4. Stewardship of Spiritual Gifts

Prayers and Praises

Unreached Peoples of East Indonesia

Prayer

As recently as 100 years ago, the Canoe People were nomadic hunter-gatherers, living in longhouses in groups of up to 50 families, and engaging in tribal warfare with beheadings and enslavement. Dutch colonization led them to settle in villages with a more peaceful, agrarian lifestyle along the river, but they are still known for hunting with poison-tipped darts and blowguns! The gospel was brought to them in the mid-20th century and many believed, but in the absence of continuous discipleship work or a missionary presence, the people soon returned to traditional witch doctors and trying not to agitate the evil spirits. While this people group is known as a "Christian" group in a majority Muslim country, there are few who truly trust in Jesus as their Protector, Healer, and Savior. Please pray for laborers to be sent to renew the work among the Canoe People. Pray that the Canoe People will turn back to Jesus as their Savior and trust in Him as their Protector and Healer, rather than in the shaman. Pray that they will hunger and thirst for the Word of God and that they will see His blessings tangibly in their lives as they choose to follow Him.
