Gather Student Ministry Event

July 16, 2022 at 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Where: Bethel Hope
All Campus Event, Bethel Students, Bethel Students Event

Our next Gather Student Ministry event will be on Saturday, July 16 from 5:30-7:30 PM at Bethel Hope! We will have worship, games, and food trucks! We'll also have the Splash Pad on, so make sure to wear appropriate clothes/swimwear and bring a towel. No registration is required, but don’t forget to bring money for the food trucks!

Gather is an event for all of our Bethel Students (6th-12th grade) to come together and be reminded that we are part of a much larger body of believers than what we see on Sundays and Wednesdays. At each event, we will have music, food trucks, games, and more!

AXIA Shop Donation Drive

Where: Bethel Downtown

We're once again asking for donations for the AXIA Shop's annual diaper drive. The AXIA Shop is located in Tyler and helps to serve expectant families and as part of the ministry of Living Alternatives. They help to meet practical needs by giving away baby items such as clothing, diapers, wipes, feeding supplies and more! Women can earn points to spend in the shop through things like attending their doctors appointments, mentor classes, and childbirth classes. They can spend their points on items whenever they are in need, up until the child is 2 years old. They help meet a practical need while building relationships and showing the love of Jesus, and we get to be a part of it!

You can check the list to see what's needed. We'll be accepting donations in the 2nd floor lobby for the entire month of June. If you have any questions, contact

The Exodus Workshop

Where: Bethel Downtown
Bethel Kids

Bethel Downtown is excited to be hosting The Exodus Workshop this summer! Elementary students are invited to spend the mornings of July 12-15 from 8:30 AM - 12 PM exercising their creativity as story makers as we journey through the story of the Exodus. We will adventure into the stories together, explore elements such as characterization, setting, and themes, and then practice telling others about these stories by helping the kids put on a play of the story for their parents on Friday! There will be games, crafts, snacks, and lots of fun as we combine learning about the Bible with theatrical instruction from local artists. Kids will not be forced to act and have many opportunities to help with technical elements as well, so there's something for everyone.

Please note that since this is a workshop for elementary aged students, basic classroom skills such as following directions and going to the bathroom independently are needed. Helpers will be available to assist with reading, so low reading skills are a-okay! You can contact with any questions. We hope to see you there!

Missions Prayer and Updates

Missions Prayer | July 2022

Ryan McSwane| Young Life | New York

1.) Pray for the college interns, Wendy and Lizzie, as they help lead the college program this summer. Pray God blesses them with innovation and fruit as they help the team learn how to better introduce students to Jesus. Please also pray their personal faith would deepen and they would see God's power at work.

2.) Pray for the summer development program. They are piloting a program to help new Christians grow in the essentials, get connected to a local church, and grow as leaders. Pray the Lord would bring 15 students!

3.) Please pray for a student, Samuel, who is becoming more and more curious about Jesus. Pray God would move in His life and through those ministering to him.

4.) Please pray for the fundraising efforts this summer. Their hope is to hire a student in the fall but the funds are need to do so.

5.) Please pray for their leadership would continue to be attentive to God's voice.
